Our Middle two boys are going on a missions trip in June to the Lakota Sioux Nation in South Dakota. They have been doing fund raisers to help raise money for their trip, this weekend they have 2 fund raisers going on a Yard Sale at New Life Church of God in Dover and a Hot Dog Stand at Buehlers in New Philadelphia.
The Yard Sales dates and hours are Friday May 28th and Saturday May 29th 9am to 3pm for any who are interested.
To get ready for the yard sale I have been working hard on a few craft items to sell to help the boys raise money. Of course our time to work on the projects have been limited because we have been chasing kids around like crazy. Every night this week we have had at least one baseball game, and one practice the boys needed to get to.
I have been woring on making Dry Erase Boards using picture frames and Post It Note holders for your desk using acrylic frames. Here are my contributions for the sale. For the Dry Erase Memo boards I used regular picture frames, created a layout using my vast supply of paper and scrapbook supplies.
The Post it's note holders are acrylic frames laid down and each is decorated with a space for either a 1-1/2"x2" or a 2'x3" picture, the Post-It's are stamped on each page (yes I am insane), and once the Post-it's are all gone the frame has 2 places for pictures.
